Description of the Experiment

A 14V light bulb is connected in series to an inductor and a power source that is driving the circuit with an alternating current. Observe what happens to the light bulb when an iron core is inserted into the inductor and when a wooden core is inserted into the inductor. Can you use your knowledge of induction and AC circuits to explain what you see?
